DREW SMITH

YOUR MIAMI DOLPHINS FAN CRUISE CONCIERGE

Mr. Smith attended Valdosta State University & Emory University in Atlanta Ga with a goal of attending Cornell for his Doctorate in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, but Mr. Smith decided to re-focus on consulting and entrepreneurial endeavors in the travel sector.

Mr. Smith has managed projects for the travel, direct response, insurance, medical, and tech fields. He has created processes to successfully translate prestigious brands into superior customer experiences that increase satisfaction, loyalty, and profitability.

Mr. Smith is directly responsible for transforming the “Life Health and Annuities” industry into a non- “wet signature” product. By integrating predictive dialing technology and persuading the insurance industry of the benefits of remote agent technology, a historic deal with Mutual of Omaha and AIG was struck.

Mr. Smith worked for First-Class Cruises as a sales manager and then 4 years as GM for its cruise package division before creating Firefly Travel where he received one of the most prestigious awards in the Travel industry for becoming the highest-grossing cruise agency out of 40,000 NEXION travel agencies across the country. He then sold the agency to First Class Cruises.

Mr. Smith also attended the National Outdoor Leadership School in Palmer, Alaska achieving full certification in wilderness survival and is also a licensed PADI scuba diving instructor and IDC course instructor having traveled to Thailand, Myanmar, Australia, Maldives, Fiji, Palau, Andaman Islands, Galapagos, and Cocos Islands just to name a few! All of this was done on the 210’ Feadship MY “Battered Bull” known for its many circumnavigations of the world and more specifically for diving the most remote and inaccessible places on Earth including Bikini Atoll before access was officially granted due to still being radioactive, We were also first Westerners to be allowed into Myanmar waters.

The owners, Mr. Smith, and the Battered Bull dive security team tested many products for National Geographic such as the very successful “shark pod” that keeps the most dangerous sharks away from the film crews, and thus why we have “shark week”. This is by far Mr. Smith’s favorite achievement due to its reputation for preventing shark attacks during filming.
